| Hi. My name is Scott Adkins and I am the creator and owner of Crossbowhunters online. I myself started hunting with archery equipment at the age of 12. Since then I have hunted with just about every type of archery equipment offered today. I have even made a couple of self bows. I have about 25 years of experience with archery equipment and one thing I learned is that all archery weapons have the arrow in common and it doesn't matter if you call the crossbow arrow a bolt, they are all limited to range.
Here at Crossbowhunters, we have several goals. One of those goals is to promote hunting, #2) to bring hunters together and keep our heritage alive, #3) to bring recognition to the hunters who choose to hunt with crossbows as a choice of an archery weapon, #4) to remind people of their forgotten heritage of the crossbow which has been here for over 2,000 years, #5) to bring stories filled with information to help our readers bag that trophy they're hunting for, #6) to have our readers participate in discussions on issues that affect all of us as hunters, #7) to bring articles on how to build your own crossbow for those hard core crossbowhunters.
